I went to three games dur­ing the Phillies recent home­s­tand, catch­ing two absolute­ly amaz­ing games and leav­ing before the now infa­mous Taser­ing dur­ing the oth­er one.

Turns out all it takes to allay fears of the Phillies being snakebit­ten is Jamie Moy­er draw­ing a bases loaded walk from Johan San­tana and then twirling a two-hit gem 5 days lat­er against anoth­er NL East rival.

That game still blows my mind. It’s the sort of thing you can’t believe you’re watch­ing. I hope some­day to see a per­fect game, but this was prob­a­bly as close as I’ve ever been and it still gave me chills.

When they’re on, they’re on. What a fun team to watch!
